If you get into a little ‘fender-bender” this year don’t forget about our cooperative fundraising program with Holmes Body Shop Community Give Back Program. The Foundation will receive 5% of your total repair bill as a donation from Holmes in your honor! Go to www.holmesbodyshop.com and print the Giving Certificate to take with you to the repair center. Be sure to mention you would like LACF to be the recipient of your repair donation!

Call today and see how you can support Lake Avenue Community Foundation through your repair bill! Again, when the repair is complete they will send 5% of the repair total directly to LACF. Along with the check they send a letter letting LACF know the gift is from you.
With accidents happening everyday, 5% adds up fast meaning that a $2,500 repair bill is $125 for LACF and $4,000=$200, $6,000=$300, $10,000=$500. There is no limit so call Holmes Body Shop the next time you need a repair and support LACF!
Donate Goods or Services (In-kind donations)
Lake Avenue Community Foundation accepts a number of product donations, including:
- Large Single Items such as a car, van or delivery truck, office equipment printers, copiers, fax, etc.
- Bulk Supplies in large quantity that are new and packaged for easy transport. Examples include cases of water, nonperishable food, and blankets, jackets etc.
- Currently seeking a mini van for youth transportation and new computers for our computer lab learning center.
Contact us to inquire about making any one of these donations. We will respond as soon as possible.
Workplace Giving
Support the Foundation through the United Way Campaign, or another other workplace campaigns. When you choose to designate your gift it is used to help children and families right here in the neighborhood.

Employer Matching Gift Programs
Many companies match employee and/or retiree charitable contributions annually, dollar-for-dollar up to a given amount per company policy through a company Matching Gift program.
If you work for, or are retired from, a company that matches employee gifts, please contact them directly to obtain a matching gift form from the Human Resource Office. Please send it to us and we will complete the form for your company’s matching gift.

Donate Airline or Credit Card Miles
That’s right, you can donate your airline or credit card miles to Lake Avenue Community Foundation. Please let us know the airline or credit card company and we will work with you to get the miles and points transferred to LACF for program use.
Shop at Ralphs, Albertsons, Food4Less
By frequenting local businesses and designating Lake Avenue Community Foundation as your “Charity of Choice” means additional financial support for us! That’s right, there are a number of businesses here locally and on-line that are willing to financially support us.
Before you shop for groceries be sure to check out the organizations ready to support Lake Avenue Community Foundation and sign up today. These include:
Ralphs: www.ralphs.com go to Community Contribution, under the Service tab, enter your Ralphs Club “Rewards” Card number and our NPO# 84942
Food 4 Less: www.food4less.com go to Community rewards, register your card with LACF and our ID# 84942.
You must swipe your reward cards at the stores for your purchases to count. If you have trouble, you can get a form to complete at any of the stores.
If you don’t want to register online, the next time you visit your grocery store, please take the below barcode and instructions to your local Ralph’s or Food4 Less!
Cashier Instructions:
- Please scan the bar code, along with the customer’s community rewards card within their order
- A purchase is required in order for the link between the card and organization to work
- This procedure is successful when you hear the audible beep and see the words LOYALTY DIV on the receipt.
