Live Nativity Scenes

Christmas Lights Displays

Take your student out to look at the Christmas lights! Here are a couple great locations:

Christmas Tree Lane in Altadena;

Upper Hastings Ranch, bordered  by Sierra Madre Blvd,  Michillinda, and Riviera;

St. Albans Road in San Marino.

Christmas Live! Nokia

Enjoy a song and dance celebration. Our very own mentor, Rita, will be singing in the Bel Air Presbyterian Choir!

Lake Avenue Church’s Rose Parade Flower Ministry

January 1, 2 & 3

Pick up the leftover Rose Parade flowers, cut and prep them, and deliver them to rest home residents throughout the San Gabriel Valley!

Mission West Farmers Market

Spend a Thursday evening with your mentee. Park at Lake Avenue Church and take the Gold Line from Lake Avenue Station to Mission Station. Enjoy an evening at a farmers market with fresh fruit, vegetables, and tasty food. Get your grocery shopping done at the same time!

The Huntington’s Free Day

First Thursday of the Month, 10:30 am – 4:30 pm
